Since graduating in 2015 from Leeds College of Music, Libby has led and collaborated on a variety of musical projects. Based in Leeds, she has directed choirs and delivered workshops all over the country. In 2018 she launched Joy Choir, an all-inclusive, adults choir located in Leeds and Bradford, with whom she performs with regularly. Libby has guest directed for a number of ensembles nationwide and set up community singing projects with a mind to see the holistic benefits that singing can bring to mental health and wellbeing. 

 With a deep appreciation for sacred choral music, Libby has sung and directed regularly for Bradford Cathedral since 2016. She was recently appointed Choir Director at St Margaret’s Church, Horsforth. Libby also teaches piano, singing and music lessons in schools across Yorkshire as well as private tuition from her home studio in Leeds. 

  From 2016-2019 she was a company member of Proper Job Theatre Company, both composing and performing in the national tours of two productions; Medusa2017, where she played the titular role, and Dorian 2019, as the leading actress.  In 2022 she was invited to compose the music to her first short feature film Sid, which will be debuted and showcased at film festivals this year. 

 With her formal training in classical singing, Libby has over a decade of experience performing a soloist or as part as an ensemble across multiple disciplines from jazz, opera, musical theatre and pop and is currently represented by Bex Agency.
