Andy's work has  included film and media music, electronic music production, classical music recording production, conducting, music for theatre, sound design, and education and community work.

 Andy began his career as a keyboard player touring with Jackdaw With Crowbar and Bhangra singer Johnny Zee.
He worked at Island Records  with reggae producer Paul 'Groucho' Smykle before co-founding Banco de Gaia with Toby Marks with and producing the Mercury-nominated album Maya and Last Train to Lhasa.


Andy worked as Musical Director for Heartbreak Productions Theatre company for 12 years and In 2009 composed and produced an orchestral score for the feature film The 13th Day. He was awarded a New York Film & Television Award for his work on the sound design of the film. He has composed for TV ads, community films and corporate media projects.

In 2011 he gained a distinction in an MA in composition at Coventry University, and has had conductor training with Sing for Pleasure.

He then lectured in Composition, Music Technology and Recording at Coventry University.

 He was a founding Director and national choirleader of  The Workplace Choir Company Ltd which he set up in 2013 and went on to work with major corporate clients including Tui UK&I, Kantar (UK and Munich), Lego, Silicon Valley Bank, RSM Accountants and Heathrow Airport.

 He now works as a producer of classical and electronic music and continues to release and remix electronic music as 100th Monkey.

 Recent production work has included recordings of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra for their Digital Concert Series, and for release by Deutsche Grammophon.
